I was previously a founder of S & R Childs Funeral Services which was sold in 2012 to Dignity Plc. When we opened Homewood Funeral Services in 2017 our caring and friendly team decided to join us. Today our Principals and Funeral Directors are my son, Darren Jeffs and Clare Hunter. Our combined experience has been serving the families of Oxfordshire for over 65 years providing a funeral service with a difference; offering high quality, exceptional service and value, in newly refurbished, modern and inviting surroundings.
We recognise at Homewood that everyone’s funeral wishes are different, whether that’s planning their own or organising it on behalf of a loved one, so we offer a range of unique funeral service packages. From the transfer, care and preparation of the deceased to writing the funeral notice, we take care of everything ensuring that the funeral runs smoothly and seamlessly. We have a Repatriation Service, a Cremated Remains Service and a multi-denominational Quiet Room on-site where families can pay their respects.
We work closely with children’s hospices and support groups and proudly support SeeSaw, a charity providing grief support for children and young people in Oxfordshire.
